Youth & Amateur Lacrosse

Field

Field lacrosse is the traditional outdoor version of the sport, played on a large grass or turf field with ten players per team. It emphasizes speed, strategy, and teamwork, with players using long-handled sticks to pass, catch, and shoot a small rubber ball into the opponent's goal.

Box

Box lacrosse is a faster-paced, indoor version of the sport played in a smaller, enclosed arena, similar to a hockey rink. It emphasizes quick passing, close-quarters play, and physicality, with six players per team working together to control the ball and score in a tighter space.

Intercrosse

Intercrosse is a non-contact, simplified version of lacrosse played with a soft ball and plastic sticks, often in indoor settings. It emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and fun, making it an accessible and inclusive introduction to the sport for players of all ages and skill levels.
